Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure* Nail Polish Review

I make no secret of the fact that I love Sally Hansen nail products. Her nail care products (Miracle Cure Nail Strengthener and Diamond Flash Fast Dry Top Coat deserve an honourable mention) are fantastic and I'm also completely smitten by the Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear nail polishes.

Anyway, long story short, I was thrilled when the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Polishes* were released. I know they've been available for quite some time (and I've had many of these polishes for a while now) but I recently added some new colours to my collection so I decided it was the perfect time to review them!
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish in #670 Midnight in NY, #546 Get Juiced, #540 Frutti Petutie, #520 Shrimply Devine, #500 Pink at Him, #330 Pedal to the Metal and #220 Cafe Au Lait

"Formulated with three proprietary time released, protecting shine enhances, Complete Salon Manicure delivers lasting shine - the closed you can get to a gel effect without a gel manicure. Housed in breakthrough nano-tubes, the shine enhancers are released as your nails flex during daily wear and tear, helping to provide maximum chip resistance"
- Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish media release

Simply put, the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure* nail polishes are some of my favourite ones in my nail polish collection. These nail polishes apply really nicely, something I find I can always rely on with a Sally Hansen polish. Whilst it may vary depending on the shade, one to two coats can generally guarantee me an opaque nail but, for added colour intensity and strength, I tend to opt for three.

The brush on the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure* nail polishes make application so easy. I tried multiple times to photograph it but, after getting polish all over myself and my light tent (sad), I gave up. The somewhat short and thick brush makes it almost impossible to not coat the whole nail in one stroke. My favourite part about the brush, the curved tip, also means you're left with a neat line at the cuticle bed rather than a huge mess.

For me, I find that the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure* nail polishes last four to seven days, depending on the condition of my nails etc. The wear time is a lot greater than any other nail polish I own, making it my 'go to' polish when I know I'm going to have a busy week. My sister has awful nails and finds that polishes last a day on her; the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure* nail polishes last up to a week. She's a convert!

Finally, I love the colour selection available in the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure* formula. You may not see so in the photos above, given that a majority of my colours are in the pink family, but I really appreciate the range they have available. From metallics to neutrals, there's something for anyone! There a lot more colours I have my eye on but, of course, I can't buy them because of my 50 Day Spending Ban. D'oh!

If you're looking for a good quality nail polish that isn't going to break the bank, I highly recommend the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure* ones! Have you tried them? What colours do you recommend? Man, I really want the mint green!

These nail polishes retail for $14.95 and can be bought from Priceline, Priceline Pharmacies, Target, Kmart, Terry White Chemists, Chemist Warehouse, Good Price Pharmacies and independent pharmacies nationally.
