Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes* Review

I've said it before and I'll say it again, face wipes freak me out. I like the concept of them, especially as a first cleanse, however it freaks me out when people say they use them as their only cleanse. Really? All this aside, I was excited to give the Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes* a try because I've been such a huge fan of other products from their skincare line so I really wanted to see how these would compare. 

The Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes* contains 30 moistened towelettes soaked in a make up removing and face cleansing formula that includes rose hip oil, rose geranium oil and rosewood oil. 

I've used the Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes* a few times and, whilst I have been quite impressed by them, I don't think my skin likes them. The first thing I noticed was how moist the towelettes are. There's nothing worse that a rough and dry one, but these have a really great amount of product on them. Secondly, they did a great job at removing my make up. I've been testing these out after a day at work, removing all my make up with the Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes* before I go in with my cleanser of choice. 

My only concern about the Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes* is the fact that my skin clearly doesn't like them. There are quite a few really natural skincare products (Aveda skincare, I'm looking at you) that my skin doesn't like and it tells me by coming out in red blotches that are quite warm to the touch. The blotches go after a period of time (sometimes it's a matter of minutes, other time it's a lot longer) but I generally don't reach for products that cause such a reaction. 

If you're looking for a nice and gentle facial wipe, don't look past the Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes*. I honestly think it's a lovely product. If your skin can be quite sensitive to natural ingredients, much like my skin is, you might want to pass these up though. I really like them still so I'll be sharing them or using them to remove swatches.
