Australis Neturals and Neons Limited Edition Palette Review and Swatches

I've not tried Australis' eyeshadows in a very long time (to be honest, I'm not sure if I ever have) so when I saw this palette in my Priceline a few months ago I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try a selection of shades at once. A friend of mine, Jasmine from Sweetaholic Beauty, had already reviewed this palette and, after reading her review, I decided it would be a great addition to my collection.
The Australis Neons and Neutrals eyeshadow palette is a palette for eight eyeshadows, with four neutral eyeshadow colour and four neons. As you can see from the photo above, the palette also contains a double ended applicator. I can't comment on the quality of this as I threw it out. They just get in the way!

Neutrals
 Neons

As you can see, there's a good selection of colours in this palette. The four neutral colours create beautiful looks, with any combination of them looking incredible. Whilst I like all four of the neutral shades, I think the third (a light champagne) is probably my favourite as it's just such a beautiful all over lid colour.

The neon eyeshadows in this palette certainly pack a punch, although some are more pigmented than others. The blue and fuchsia shades a lot more pigmented than the orange and green, however all can be layered for a more pigmented finish.

I really like the formula of these eyeshadows. They're really smooth, meaning they blend really nicely into each other. The convenience of having four neutrals in one palette is also fantastic, making this a go-to product on those mornings where I've slept a little too long. Oops.

I'm going to be honest with you all though and tell you that I haven't really worn any of the neon colours out of the house yet. I'm looking forward to creating pops of colour with the turquoise shade when the weather warms up but, as far as the other three go, I just don't know if I'm game enough!

The Australis Neons & Neutrals Palette is available exclusively at Priceline stores for $9.95. Are you game enough to wear these shades?

Always look your best,
Sophie

  1. Im not really a bright eyeshadow person, but I would use the blue. I'd probably use the rest wet as eyeliners! Love the neutrals though xx
