Rimmel London Provocalips 16HR Lip Colour* Review and Swatches

Traditionally, I don't tend to like lip products that are marketed as being super long wearing. I find them to be really drying, quite uncomfortable and not really worth the hassle and discomfort, if I'm honest. With all that in mind, I didn't have very high hopes for the Rimmel London Provocalips 16HR Lip Colours* when they were released in December and I was lucky enough to receive the full collection.

At the end of 2014 and start of 2015 I did a bit of high end beauty shopping and collected some bits and pieces to add to my overflowing beauty collection - whoops. I made a few trips to Mecca Cosmetica, the super new Mecca Maxima store in Perth, Kit Cosmetics and MAC. To justify this somewhat large haul, please note that I only ever bought one or two things at a time, they've just accumulated somewhat.

I have a few hauls coming up lately, purely because I'm so behind in blogging, so I'm not going to talk through all of these products. If you have any questions, leave them below and I'll be sure to answer them.

Priceline 40% off Skincare Haul

On January 28 and 29 Priceline held one of their beloved 40% off sales, this time on their skincare. I wasn't going to pick anything up, I really wasn't, but given that I was bound to need more of my favourite cleanser and spot treatment eventually, I decided to grab a back up. AND. THAT. IS. IT. Fast forward half an hour and there I was carrying a bag full of skincare and feeling full of buyer's remorse. Don't pretend you don't know those feels.

I know this haul is really late but better late than never, right?

Isn't that how the saying goes?

Back on Track and New Upload Schedule

Hey everyone, I'm back .. AGAIN!

Long time, I know, and I'm really sorry. If you're a regular here on Born to Buy you may have noticed that I try to upload daily but, of course, that hasn't been happening lately - whoops! With that in mind, I am cutting Tuesday and Thursday out of my upload schedule, meaning that I'll still be uploading five times a week.

As of next tomorrow, I'll be uploading Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I hope that's okay with y'all and hopefully I'll be back uploading daily soon!

Monthly Beauty Favourites + 1 Fail | January, 2015

As far as months go, January was pretty kind to me. My Christmas break was great and the struggle of returning to work was oh-so-real but everyone knows those feels, don't they? This post is really late and I'm super sorry about that. Even though I'm brimming with ideas, I have been struggling to muster up the time and motivation to sit down and write posts lately so I'm adjusting my schedule a bit - there'll be more about that in another post that'll go live later today but.

I discovered some really great products in January and I'm really looking forward to finally sharing them with you all. A few of these have been loves of mine for a few months now but, for whatever the reason, I haven't spoken about them on the blog yet. I also started January absolutely loving one of these products but, sadly, found myself disliking it by the end of the month which is a really shame - we'll get to that later in the post but!
