FOTD // Hairdresser appointment and a lunch date

With all the hype surrounding the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette (review coming soon) lately, I decided to pull out my original Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette in case it was feeling a little neglected. I was heading out to get my hair done and then meet a friend for lunch so I didn't want anything too overdone but, let's be serious, I probably was by the end.
To see the look I created with these products, keep reading!
I used my Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer to prime my face and followed it up with the Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation and MAC Pro Longwear Concealer for a long wearing and flawless base. To mix it up, I set it all with the Essence Fix & Matte Translucent Loose Powder

To add some warmth back to my face I dusted NARS' Powder Bronzer in Laguna (not featured in product image above) on the perimeters of my face. I used Java from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit to contour and Banana from the contour kit to set my under eye concealer. Finally, I pulled out the MAC Powder Blush in Cheeky Bugger (from the MAC x Sharon & Kelly Osbourne Collection) on my cheeks.
I used MAC Eye Brows in Strut to define and shape my brows and set all my hard work in place with their Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set in Red Chestnut

Like I do in basically every look, I used MAC's Painterly Paint Pot (not shown above) to prime them for shadows. All of the eyeshadows I used for this look are from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette. To add shade to my eyes and make it easier to blend shadows out later, I buffed Salted Caramel into the crease of my lids. I used Creme Brûlée, a nice gold, on the inner two third of my lids and Haute Chocolate on the outer third. To add some light to the look, I patted Marzipan on the inner corner and middle of the lash line, if that even makes sense. I stamped my Too Faced 3*Way Lash Lining Tool on my upper lash line to give the illusion of a fuller lashes and brightened the look up with the MAC Chromographic Pencil in NW15/NC20 on my waterline. Finally, I coated my lashes in the MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara

I wore my favourite lip combination and, if I'm honest, the only one I've worn for the past month or so; Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk and MAC's Lipstick in Angel. I don't tend to overdraw my lips with the liner, rather define it as it's a bit diffused.

And that's the look I wore on the weekend. I was really happy with how it turned out and how it made my blue/green eyes pop, especially against my khaki t-shirt and freshly dyed copper hair.

My freshly dyed hair!

What do you think of this look? Have you been giving your Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette some love?
