Emptying the Trash // June 2015

I worked on a huge Emptying the Trash that was an accumulation of about four months worth of empty beauty products but, when sitting down to write this, I've realised that I must've deleted it instead of posting it. Agh! Either way, it was huge. In fact, I was only linking it to say that I would never let an empties post get that big again! A lesson very well learnt, it seems.

Anyway, without waffling on too much, let's empty this month's trash! There's still quite a few products in this empties post so, like I normally do, I think I'll link you to any reviews I've written and I'll only talk about the products I've not mentioned before. Sound good? I sure hope so!

Real Techniques Buffing Brush

The Real Techniques Buffing Brush isn't my favourite brush to apply foundation so, given that this one is completely falling apart, I've decided to say goodbye to it. Though I don't love this brush for foundation, it's quite nice for mineral make up or cream blush.

Would I repurchase? Nope, I have two so I won't miss it

Essence Gel Eyeliner/Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner/Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner 

I seriously don't wear my gel eyeliners so I'm tossing them all except my MAC ones. Gel eyeliners are beautiful but they're just not for me. 

Would I repurchase? Nope

The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Cream

This hand cream lived in my handbag for the longest time and I really love it. It's super hydrating, smells absolutely amazing and it's a hand cream I'd totally recommend.

Would I repurchase? At the moment I've gone back to Soap & Glory's Hand Food but I'll definitely grab it again

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Dark & Deep Brown

This dry shampoo is really great if you have dark hair and can't stand the white cast that other shampoos leave behind. It was a pretty decent dry shampoo too, though I may have used better.

Will I repurchase? Now that I'm dyeing my hair lighter, I'll probably opt for my favourite scent, the Wild one

Original Source Vanilla and Raspberry Shower Gel

I've said it before but I really like the Original Source Shower Gels and this scent, Vanilla and Raspberry, is quite possibly my favourite of the bunch. It smells absolutely lovely, worked up to a nice lather and, as far as I could tell, did a good job of cleaning! 

Would I repurchase? This is a repurchase and I've bought it again, yup, but this time I'm trying a different scent 

Mario Badescu Special Cucumber 

This is the second (I think) bottle of this toner that I've gone through and I still really like it. It's really gentle toner on my sensitive skin and I feel like it does a good job of refreshing the skin. 

Would I repurchase it? Already have

Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Fireside Mason Jar Candle

I bought this candle online from eBay quite some time ago and just got around to digging it out of my candle collection to burn. This is the perfect candle to be burning at this time of year here in Aus and I love how cosy it makes my bedroom feel.

Would I repurchase it? If it was easier to get Bath and Body Works here! 

Alpha H Liquid Gold 

This is the second bottle of this chemical exfoliant and I love using it as a treatment once or twice a week. I normally do this on lazy days because it works best when nothing is applied over the top of it. I'm not sure if it's the wonder product people say it is but it's nice and I think it does a great job.

Would I repurchase it? I already have and you can see it in this haul

Ahhh, I can finally throw these products out. I tell ya, there's nothing better than finally being able to empty out the bag of empty products you've been hoarding for a month. Beauty blogger problems, eh?
