Priceline 40% off Skincare Haul

"Okay, Sophie, you got this. Cleanser, spot treatment and that powder exfoliant from Indeed Labs, that's all you need. You don't need a million new skincare products, you already have too many. Don't mess around, just buy what you need and get out"

On January 28 and 29 Priceline held one of their beloved 40% off sales, this time on their skincare. I wasn't going to pick anything up, I really wasn't, but given that I was bound to need more of my favourite cleanser and spot treatment eventually, I decided to grab a back up. AND. THAT. IS. IT. Fast forward half an hour and there I was carrying a bag full of skincare and feeling full of buyer's remorse. Don't pretend you don't know those feels.

I know this haul is really late but better late than never, right?
Isn't that how the saying goes?
First off I picked up another tube of the People for Plants Grapefruit Aloe Foaming Cleansing Gel. I have been using this cleanser for quite some time now and I absolutely love it. It doesn't dry my skin out and I am a total sucker for a foaming cleanser! The Clean & Clear Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Gel is a statement in my spotty skincare routine so I always pick up one or two when they're on sale!

Toners are something I've been quite interested in lately so I was in a bit of a frenzy, grabbing two that I've never heard of before. My skin was suffering from a product induced break out when I was shopping so I picked up the Bliss Daily Detoxifying Facial Toner in the hope that it would clear things up. This bad boy was pretty expensive and I haven't actually used it yet as my skin cleared up and I'm scared it'll be a bit too harsh. The other toner I picked up is the Antipodes Ananda Antioxidant Rich Gentle Toner. I've been on the hunt for some toners that a little less astringent and a little more gentle on the skin and Antipodes is a fairly well regarded brand so I decided to give it a shot. It's still in its box but .. oops.

I've taken a break from using my Clarisonic because I'm starting to think it's too harsh and, instead, I've started reaching for my Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant once more. I've heard that the Indeed Laboratories Facial Powdered Exfoliator is quite similar to the Dermalogica product so I decided to grab two. Why buy two when you can buy one, right? I was looking around, as you do, and I saw the Witch Blemish Gel. At only $1.00 more for 25mL more product than the Clear & Clear Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Gel haul above, I decided to try that too!

In case you're wondering, here's the RRP for the products I bought and what I paid for them -
People for Plants Grapefruit Aloe Foaming Cleansing Gel // RRP $24.99 but I got it for $14.99
Clean & Clear Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Gel // RRP $8.99 but I got them for $8.39
Bliss Daily Detoxifying Facial Toner // RRP $29.99 but I got it for $17.99
Antipodes Ananda Antioxidant Rich Gentle Toner // RRP $28.99 but I got it for $17.39
Indeed Laboratories Facial Powdered Exfoliator // RRP $34.99 but I got it for $20.99
Witch Blemish Gel // RRP $9.99 but I got it for $5.99

I'm pretty happy with everything I picked up, though I do wish I didn't grab the toners as I just don't need them! Did you buy anything in the recent sale?

  1. I'll be curious to hear how effective that Witch blemish gel is, and that Antipodes toner too. The Clean & Clear spot treatment is my fave as well! You picked up some great stuff! x
