So I brought it from the MAC website during some sale (it's a loooong drive to the nearest MAC counter from where I live). It's a great product and looks natural and normal in summer but in winter it makes me look like a giant jaffa :/hollysageminihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15668550659051027627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3071038789762046578.post-21799325462658362392011-10-12T23:17:07.594+08:002011-10-12T23:17:07.594+08:00Hey Sophie!! As you know I'm not a big make-up wearer but your request made me think of this one time I tried to dress up and look pretty and wear this gorgeous mulberry shade of lipstick and at lunch whilst eating I managed to smear it all around my mouth and over my cheeks I looked REAL attractive then!! xo :DMaddy Bnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3071038789762046578.post-68662903732668144972011-10-12T10:55:26.271+08:002011-10-12T10:55:26.271+08:00I bought Estee Lauder double wear foundation and h...I bought Estee Lauder double wear foundation and had it put on me in the shop and thought it looked really great. The lighting in the shop made it look like a perfect match, later i realised it was way WAY to dark for my skin tone, and when comparing it to my previous foundation that was the right colour (but didnt sit as well which is why i was getting a new one) it was way darker. Not sure how I thought it looked good in the shop! probably their darn lighting, makes everything look amazing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15667805212769758234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3071038789762046578.post-42456303835039762892011-10-08T22:39:11.763+08:002011-10-08T22:39:11.763+08:00I was going out to a concert so I tried out the Sa...I was going out to a concert so I tried out the Sally Hansen dry nail polish strips, they were sparkly and blue and amazing!

A week later when they were starting to look a bit second hand I thought I'd use the half hour I had before work to take them off. I tried so hard to get 1 nail off and it was failing miserably, the colour was coming off and the glitter was sticking like its life depended on it. I had to leave for work so I threw on over the top a haphazard coat of the most solid/opaque colour I had (which just so happened to be fluoro pink).

so I went to work with these gross pink, lumpy, awful looking nails and hid my hands all morning until I could go over to the shops at lunch and pay the nail salon to take it off.

It was a pretty embarrassing morning as a number of my colleagues noticed how horrible my nails looked :PAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3071038789762046578.post-13868544201749367402011-10-08T21:59:14.198+08:002011-10-08T21:59:14.198+08:00have to be the blue eys shadow I wore in the eight...have to be the blue eys shadow I wore in the eighties yes I am really old, it was a big trend in the seventies thought I could bring into the eighties, wrong, last time I wore it I was told by someone I reminded them of a pool cue (ouch) thankfully can look back and laugh nowAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3071038789762046578.post-26629622260997938422011-10-07T22:39:05.887+08:002011-10-07T22:39:05.887+08:00Ooh yeah, I have white white skin as you know, and...Ooh yeah, I have white white skin as you know, and even with sampling I find bases are hit-and-miss. I tend to just grab the lightest shade that anyone makes and go with it. HOWEVER - I bought the lightest Bobbi Brown foundation shade while in the US and it is ACTUALLY white - as in even I look like a ghost while wearing it. Who ever knew there were people whiter than me out there?! :Pimpossibleblothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17415405189026505186noreply@blogger.com
