In my post about the Spring Marie Claire Edit I mentioned that I was probably going to cancel my subscription but, alas, I forgot and here we are with their Summer Edit! I won't tell you my thoughts on the box 'til the end so let's get cracking!
For the face we have the Avene Micellar Lotion, a mini pack of Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads, the Nude by Nature Sheer Glow BB Cream and a sachet of the Swisse Manuka Honey Detoxifying Facial Mask. I'm most excited about the inclusion of the the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads, a product you'll have seen a lot of if you've been reading this blog for a while. Micellar waters really aren't my thing as I'd much rather use a make up remover and cleanser but I'm sure I'll be able to pass it on to someone. I've heard a few good things about the mask so being able to test that will be nice but I'll pass on the BB Cream, thanks..
For the body the box contains the Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturiser in Light-Medium, Banana Boat New SunComfort Lotion SPF 50 and Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Lotion and I think they're all very wise additions. I have some weird tan lines on my arm so I'm looking forward to digging the daily tanner out to see if it evens them out and the sunscreen is the perfect handbag size. I very much dislike Palmer's products and, whilst it doesn't have their traditional cocoa butter scent that gives me a headache, I'm not sure if I'll give this a chance or just pass it on to someone.
Lastly we have the Klorane Conditioner with Quinoa and B Vitamins, Schick Hydro Silk Razor and a mini Moroccan Oil Treatment. Moroccan Oil is another product that I don't get along with and I don't think I'll use the conditioner as I can be a bit of a hair product snob, however I am the worst when it comes to remembering to replace my razors so having a spare in the drawer will be amazing!
Whilst I didn't dislike the Summer 2016 Edit of Marie Claire The Parcel as much as I disliked Spring, I didn't love it. I know I'm being picky but I'm a bit disappointed that there was no make up included and I maybe would've liked to see a few less accessible products featured.
