I give November a solid 10/10. So far this month I've seen my favourite musician of all time, Delta Goodrem, for the third time and four new movie length episodes of my all time favourite tv show, Gilmore Girls, have been released. Tonight I'm also seeing the band I grew up listening to, Garbage, and I'm sure they'll blow me out of the water. It's been a busy month and I've had a lot of feels, let me tell you!
So yes, November has been a wild ride. In addition to all of those amazing moments, I've made some awesome beauty discoveries that I've got to tell you all about!
I've spent most of it with a persistent virus that won't budge so my skin's been all over the place. I pulled out the LUSH Gorgeous Facial Moisturiser* that I was gifted at a Bloggers United event earlier this year when I felt like I needed up to amp up the hydration and I am so glad I did. I haven't used this moisturiser in years but now I remember why I swore by it; it's great. It's hydrating but not too heavy for my combination/oily and sensitive skin. I'm not sure that I'd use it in the morning because I don't know how it'd go under make up, however as a nighttime cream it's ace!
I decided to mix two of my favourite bases, Covergirl's Ready Set Gorgeous and L'Oreal's 24HR Infallible Liquid, when I was struggling to find my perfect colour and it honestly makes the perfect foundation! The combination provides the longevity of the L'Oreal foundation mixed with the comfort of Covergirl's. Separately these are great foundations and they work together so well also!
I had been swooning over Ciate's The Pretty Palette for so long that I didn't think twice about picking it up in store recently, especially because Mecca Maxima told me it wouldn't be reaching Australian shores when I contacted them about it. It is a super wearable everyday palette with a blendable and pigmented formula that's really impressed me, especially after the iffy reviews about Chloe Morello's collab with Ciate. I'm thinking of doing a full review of this so let me know if that's something you'd like to see!
I've been having a bit of a moment with glitter, both pressed and loose. Glitter is notorious for being difficult to apply so I picked up Too Faced's Glitter Glue and I am in love; I don't know why I haven't bought it sooner. It's a super sticky base that glitter and loose pigments stick to so well, yet it's not uncomfortable at all. Make Up Geek's Foiled Eyeshadows are some of my all time favourites but on me they always crease towards the inner corner so hopefully this as a base will stop that!
I've replaced my fave lower lash mascara, MAC's Extended Play Gigablack Lash, with a cruelty free alternative, the Tightline Mascara from IT Cosmetics, and I'm impressed. I don't know if I like it as much as the MAC one, however I really like it and I love knowing that it's cruelty free. As long as the mascara doesn't transfer under my eyes, which it doesn't, I'll be happy!

I was given MAC's new Liptensity lipstick in Driftwood a while ago and it is such a me colour! It's a dusty cool pink which is a colour I always gravitate towards and the formula is really nice. It's a somewhat long wearing lipstick so great for a work day and it wears off nicely, meaning reapplying isn't essential.
Well then, another month, another favourites, eh? I'm not sure where this year's gone but, with Christmas fast approaching, I'm not sure whether next month's favourites will be huge or tiny.. Who knows! I love Christmas time so I'm looking forward to December and ,thankfully, I feel like I've done a good chunk of my shopping already! What about you?
What have you been loving lately? Share your secrets!
