FOTD // Everyday Look ft. BH Cosmetics' Shaaanxo Palette

I'm so enveloped in the beauty community that, even though I was a little indifferent, I had to pick up the BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo Palette and I'm pleased to report that I've been pleasantly surprised by it. I've found myself reaching for the palette a bunch lately, especially for a quick and easy go to look, so I thought I'd share how I create it.

I know this isn't a particularly exciting look but I think it's a simple and pretty one which is why I chose to share it anyway.

To see how I used the products below, keep reading!

It's probably no surprise that I primed with the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer; I don't remember the last time I used anything else! For foundation I used my L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Foundation and then I followed it up with the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer to conceal my under eye darkness and the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Concealer on excess redness. Bright eyes are my jam at the moment so I set my under eye concealer with Lyric from  the Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette and then I set the rest of the face with Face of Australia's Translucent Loose Powder.

I used another tried and tested favourite, NARS' Laguna Powder Bronzer, to warm up the perimeters of my face and added dimension with Sombre from the Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette. My blush was my go-to of the moment, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Prim (from a Christmas set in 2014, I think?). Finally for the face, I used my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Perfect Topping for a natural highlight on the cheeks.

To fill in my brows I used my fave brow pencil of the moment, ColourPop's Brow Pencil in Dope Taupe, and set it with ModelCo's More Brows Thickening Eyebrow Gel.

Let's get onto eyes! I primed my eyes with the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly, as usual, and set it with the matte beige shade in the BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo Palette. To warm up the crease I used the fourth shade in the palette, a really warm brown. I applied the By Terry Ombre Black Star Cream Eyeshadow in Frozen Quartz all over the mobile lid, setting it with the third shade in the palette, a beautiful pink/rose gold shade that makes my blue/greens eyes POP, if I can say so myself. I used the sixth shadow in the palette, a deep matte warm brown, to add slight definition to the outer corner of my eye and then patted the second shade, a shimmery champagne, on the inner corner.

No eye look is complete without mascara so my top lashes were dosed up with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, whilst my lower lashes got a coat of MAC's Extended Play Gigablack Lash.

I try to be as no fuss as possible on a work day so, to keep it simple, my lip was just a combination of the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Pencil in Pillow Talk and topped it with Napoleon Perdis' Mattetastic Lipstick in Grace.
