PRICELINE 40% OFF COSMETICS HAUL

Priceline held their beloved 40% off cosmetics sale last Wednesday and Thursday and, as always, I said I wasn't going to pick anything up but I did anyway. Whoops, sorry not sorry. I at least showed some self control, not going wild, and I'm really happy with every purchase that I made.

I watched a couple of different recommendation videos in the lead up to the sale and quite a few people recommend the Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Fresh Complexion Oil Free Foundation so I decided to pick it up in the lightest shade that they still had in stock, #115 Buff Beige. I've only used it a couple of times but I'm really impressed so far!

Max Factor isn't normally a display that I hit up but there were a few things that I wanted to try, especially while they were heavily discounted. Many of the recommendation videos also mentioned their Facefinity All Day Primer as a possible dupe for Hourglass' Veil Mineral Primer but no Priceline I went to even had a space in their display for it so I couldn't grab it. I recently sold my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette as I only ever used the soft plum shade, Mood Exposure. I've heard the Max Factor Cream Puff Blushes are really nice and Nude Mauve looked like it was a similar shade so I bought that also. Lastly from Max Factor I repurchased one of their newest mascaras, the Masterpiece Transform. I mentioned in my recent Open Mascara Edit that it was a really great mascara so I thought it was a good time to get a top up.

It's become a bit of a tradition that I pick up at least one Models Prefer brush during the 40% off cosmetics sales and this time was no exception, with me buying their Double Eyebrow Brush. I've been using and loving Chi Chi's Brow Pomade in my brows lately and synthetic brushes like this make application soo much easier!

Lastly, someone I work with uses Rimmel's 60 Second Super Shine Nail Polish in Darling, You Are Fabulous as an accent nail colour all the time and she raves about it so naturally I had to see if it lives up to the hype. It's a basic gold nail polish but the only other gold I have is about five years old so it's probably time to swap them out!

To be honest, I don't think I went too wild this time around. I was in and out as quickly as possible and I didn't want to mess around or give myself an opportunity to pick up other bits 'n' pieces I really do not need.

Did you pick anything up? Let me know!

  1. Lovely haul! I'd say I was quite restrained with mine too haha. Shame you couldn't pick up the Max Factor primer! I bought it and I've really been liking it. I really want to try that Max Factor mascara and want to try more Models Prefer brushes but the stock is always really poor!
