I'd been using the same cleanser for about six months when I decided it was time to switch it up, as they say. The cleanser I was using was fine, sure. There was nothing wrong with it but I thought my skin deserved better so I grabbed the Alpha H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera in a somewhat recent Adore Beauty order (see haul here).
I've been using the cleanser consistently for at least a month now and, I've got to say, I really like it. It's gentle yet effective on my combination skin and it feels really lovely to use.

The Alpha H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera is said to be a three-in-one creamy cleanser that is rich in vitamin e and aloe vera. It claims remove all make up, successfully wash the face and correct the skin's natural pH balance, working in place of a toner.
I use the Alpha H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera as my second cleanse after removing my make up with the MAC Cleanse Off Oil and I'm really impressed by it. Not only does it remove any excess mascara that's been left behind, but it does a really beautiful job of cleansing the skin. It doesn't leave the skin feeling stripped or dehydrated but it's effective enough to leave the skin feeling clean.
Given that it's a cream product, my favourite way to use the Alpha H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera is on damp, not wet, skin. I find that I need to use two pumps of the product if I use it on dry skin, as opposed to one if it's damp, but I like to take a lot of the moisture off the skin so I know it's really working it. This cleanser is also easily removed, though I do think it needs to be removed with the assistance of a flannel/cloth as it leaves a moisturising residue on the skin.
My skin is notorious for breaking out, but it's been so calm since I introduced the Alpha H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera, and a few other products, into my skincare routine. This cleanser is a great 'basic' product that does everything it claims to do.
The Alpha H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera is a product that I know I'll continue to repurchase and I would highly recommend it to everyone, regardless of their skin type. It retails for $43.95 and I pick mine up from Adore Beauty.

Have you tried this or any other product from Alpha H?
What's your current favourite cleanser?
This sounds really lovely, I think I might actually have a sample of it in my stash somewhere! I need to get around to trying it!
