It's pretty safe to assume that you've been living under a rock if you haven't heard of L'Oreal Paris' True Match Super Blendable Foundation. This product has been a cult product in the beauty community for such a long time now and there's no sign of its popularity slowing down any time soon. It's a foundation that I've had in my collection for so long now, though I never reviewed it, so I thought it was finally time to share my thoughts with the world.
L'Oreal Paris claims that their True Match Super Blendable Foundation has patented technology to aid it in matching one's skin tone and texture. They also say that the formula allows the user to control the coverage and state that the foundation has no oils, fragrances or pore clogging fillers.
In short, I like this foundation. Do I think it lives up to the claims stated above, as well as the ones made in the television advertisements? No. Do I think it's a good foundation? Definitely.
The coverage on the L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Foundation is great, as you can see from the photo below. I'd say it medium coverage, however the super light texture means it can be comfortably built up without feeling or looking cakey once applied.

L'Oreal Paris' True Match Super Blendable Foundation has great lasting power. I apply it over a primer and set it with a powder, as I do with any foundation but I find that it easily lasts a work day, regardless of the weather conditions.
The finish of L'Oreal Paris' True Match Super Blendable Foundation is lovely. I'd say it's a natural/matte finish. It sets nicely over my combination/oily skin, though I do find that it'll occasionally cling to the dry patches associated with a particularly bad breakout, should I have one. In short, I think it'll work well with any skin type except the overly dry.
The issue I have with L'Oreal Paris' True Match Super Blendable Foundation is with the shade range. This foundation is available in 33 shades in the US, whilst there's only 11 available in Australia. That's a pretty big difference, don't you think? Regardless of the fact that it's called True Match, I've gone through four different shades before finding a suitable match and I'm pretty pale. How are my darker sisters meant to find their perfect shade?
If you're looking for a good foundation that's going to get the job done, don't look past L'Oreal Paris' True Match Super Blendable Foundation. You can pick this up from anywhere that stocks L'Oreal (Priceline, Target, Big W, Myer and selected pharmacies etc, I'm looking at you) and it retails for $29.95.
Great review! True Match isn't my favourite, I prefer Lumi Magique over this one for a more illuminated and natural look but I appreciate that this is a pretty affordable product that offers great coverage.
