Priceline Haul and Cosmetics Bag Gift with Purchase - May, 2015

Priceline is currently running their beloved free cosmetics gift bag promotion which, of course, is a great time to pick up a bunch of make up products without feeling as guilty. Not only is the gift with purchase in itself great value, but many of the brands included in the gift bag are on sale also, meaning it's even more value for money!

Before I get into the bag and what I bought to be eligible, let's look into the offer. To be eligible, you must spend $60.00 or more on selected make up brands. The brands involved in the cosmetics gift bag promotion are Essie, Glam Manicare, Sally Hansen, Nude by Nature, Innoxa, Rimmel London, Models Prefer, Physicians Formula, Revlon, Natio, L'Oreal Paris, EcoTools, Savvy by DB and Rock Beauty; there's plenty to choose form! I've heard that stores are more lenient than others, with some allowing people to spend the $60.00 across any brands/items, so you might want to talk to someone in store! The promotion runs until May 11, or until stock lasts.

Most of the products I picked up are going to be featured in an upcoming giveaway so I'm not showing them. I can, however, confirm that I stocked up on my favourite base and top coat, Essie's Grow Stronger Base Coat and Good To Go Top Coat. Though they weren't part of the promotion, I also grabbed another bottle of the Swisse Hair Skin Nails+ Vitamins and a Maybelline Colour Drama Lipstick in Minimalist. 

Rather than coming in a bag that I'll never use like they normally do, the gift with purchase is housed in a large cosmetics bag this year. Not only do I think it's a more practical idea, I absolutely love the look of the bag. I'm sure the quality isn't the best but doesn't the design just scream Ted Baker?

Excluding the EcoTools Eco Friendly Bath Sponge (which I assume to retail for about $5.00, based on the price of similar products at Priceline) the contents of the bag is approximately $181.96 which I think it great. The bag itself would be worth at least $20.00, I believe, making the value over $200.00. 

The pack also came with a 1mL sample of L'Oreal True Match Foundation sachet and a $6.00 off Essie nail coupon 

As you can see, the bag offers pretty good value for money and I'm feeling really satisfied with the contents. The Essie nail colour I received is a shade I already own which is a total bummer but it's a lovely shade so I can't really complain. There are a few things I'm looking forward to testing! If you're looking at picking up a few bits from Priceline, you may as well do it now and try and take advantage of this offer.
