Just like I said I wouldn't buy anything on Black Friday, I said I wasn't going to pick anything up in the Boxing Day/post Christmas but, alas, we all know I was lying and, of course, I did. I stocked up on a few essentials, and I also took the opportunity to treat myself to a few bits I've been lusting over for a while. All of this was purchased over the span of about a month as the sales continued, both online and in store.
I don't necessarily know the discounts I received for most of these products, but I'll be sure to let you know if I can!
I grabbed a few bits from David Jones over one online order and two trips into the store. First off I grabbed People for Plants Foaming Cleansing Gel. This is the repurchase of a cleanser that I really love and I'm so glad I got more at a discounted price! As you may have seen, I featured the Estee Lauder Pure Envy Sculpting Lipstick Collection in my Holiday Gift Guide series and I've been lusting after it every since so I was super excited to pick it up at 30% off in store at DJs. I haven't really have a chance to play with any of the shades, purely mainly I wanted to keep the box nice for this video, but I'll be sure to report back! Because I was placing an order already, I decided to grab a box of the Shiseido Facial Cotton. Though they aren't significantly more than cotton pads from the 'drugstore', I have always thought it a bit ridiculous that people spend money on these. They were 10-20% off, if memory serves me right, so I don't feel too bad about it.
I also picked up the Becca Mineral Powder Blush in Gypsy online at 50% off which I, stupidly, forgot to include in this photo. I'll be sure to feature it in an upcoming Face of the Day post so you can see it!
Marc Jacobs' Honey Eau de Parfum is an all-time favourite of mine, as you would know if you saw my final Top Products of 2014 post. I've owned the 30mL bottle for over a year now, rationing it because it is, without a doubt, one of the most expensive fragrances in my collection and replacing it will be a bitch. Myer tends to have good perfume sales so I was excited to see 50mL on sale from $120.00 to $84.00.I would've liked to buy the 100mL but it wasn't on sale and $160 is just too much of an investment!
Finally for beauty, I decided to finally pick up the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation from Priceline. I had been curious about this foundation for quite some time now so I grabbed it while it was 50% off at Priceline!
Finally for the haul, I've gone on a bit of a Mimco rampage of late. If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you'll have seen that I treated myself to the Mimco Small Pouch in Seafoam. I've also picked up the Mini Jewel Stud in Amber, small Monumenta Ring Duo in Rose Gold and Astro Ear Cuff in Rose Gold. All of the jewellery was on sale and I seriously love every piece. Aren't they beautiful?
and that's everything I got! Did you splurge in the post Christmas sales? What did you buy? Let me know!
