Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation* Review

As I said in yesterday's post, I am all about the base (and not Meghan Trainor's) and I am on a never ending hunt for the perfect foundation. Sigh, aren't we all? When the Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation* arrived on my door steps, I'll be honest, I didn't have high hopes. I always look for a foundation that's going to mattify my combination skin and control oil throughout the day, two things I just didn't believe this foundation would do. The colour match is absolutely perfect for me though, so I eventually gave in, tested this bad boy out and now it's up there in my Top 5 Foundations. Oh, how things change.

The Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation* is a skincare treatment and foundation all in one! It is designed to have the skincare benefits of a serum and the long lasting coverage of a foundation, offering a radiant and youthful complexion. This foundation is said to contain Vitamin E, Vitamin B and Glycerin to moisturise, hydrate and protect skin.

Enough about the claims of Innoxa's Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation*, let's talk about what I think of it! This silicon based foundation is really easy to apply. Unlike some silicon based products, it doesn't have too much slip to it, just enough for it to blend seamlessly into the skin. I expected it to be quite dewy on my face, I'll be honest, but it actually sets to a semi-matte/matte finish which is much appreciated by this combination/oily skinned girl over here. It has a medium to full coverage which can be built up as required without looking cakey.

As you can see from the before and after photos above, even though it is a medium to full coverage foundation, the Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation*  has a really natural look to it which makes it very easy to wear daily.

I didn't expect the Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation* to last all day on me, I really didn't, but it's actually one of those foundations that looks better as the day gets on. It doesn't settle into pores (or *gasp* fine lines) and it doesn't produce ridiculous amounts of oil or sheen. Any oil that I have produced throughout a day doesn't eat the product away either, rather sitting on the skin to create a natural looking sheen that's actually, dare I say it, quite nice.

The only downside I can see to this foundation is the colour selection. The Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation* only comes in five shades which may rule a lot of skin tones out. I wear the lightest shade, Nude, and I find that it's a perfect match. I don't know how dark the darkest shade, Toffee, is, but I'm sure it's not super dark.

I am completely smitten with the Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation* and it's honestly the only foundation I've been reaching for for near on a month (monthly favourites spoiler alert). The foundation retails for $26.95 for a 30mL bottle and is available from selected Priceline and Myer stores, as well as leading pharmacies.

Have you tried Innoxa's Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation*? What did you think of it?
What's your favourite foundation of the moment?

*This product was sent to me, however all opinions are my own. I was not paid for this review
