Katy Perry Killer Queen Royal Revolution Eau De Parfum* Review

Katy Perry's most recent fragrance, Killer Queen Royal Revolution*, was sent to me recently and, after really liking her first two, Killer Queen* and Killer Queen Oh So Sheer*, I was really excited to try it! Once again, this perfume in the Killer Queen range is housed in the infamous Queen's sceptre inspired bottle, though this time in blue to emulate a suit of amour.

For more information on this third instalment in the Killer Queen series, and to see what I think of the fragrance, keep reading.

I don't know too much about perfumes and how to describe them but one thing I can tell you is that I can smell vanilla and 'fruits' in this scent. Killer Queen Royal Revolution* is described as a 'tempting and irresistible floral' scent that 'conquers at first breath'. The notes in Killer Queen Royal Revolution* are as follows -

Top Notes: Pink freesia and pomegranate
Middle Notes: Sandalwood, orange flower and jasmine petals
Base Notes: Black thorn, skin musk and vanilla orchid

As you may be able to tell from the little of notes, Killer Queen Royal Revolution* is a little more seductive than the other two Killer Queen scents from Katy Perry. This fragrance also differs from them as they both had base notes of cashmere, natural patchouli heart and liquid praline which, of course, this one does not have.

In terms of lasting power, I think Killer Queen Royal Revolution* lasts quite well but not as long as Killer Queen Oh So Sheer*. Don't get me wrong but, I still do get 'whiffs' of it throughout the day when I am wearing it.

Killer Queen Royal Revolution* by Katy Perry has been available since September 1. It is available at Myer, Priceline and Chemist Warehouse stores, as well as selected pharmacies Australia wide. This perfume retails for $69.00 for 100mL, $49.00 for 50mL and $39.00 for 30mL so it definitely won't break the bank! Like I always say, if you're not sure if you'll like it, I recommend heading to Myer to grab a sample. I've found that the sales assistants are normally more than happy to oblige

Have you tried this or any other perfume in the Killer Queen line from Katy Perry? What did you think of it?

*This product was sent to me, however all opinions are my own. I was not paid for this review

  1. My sister owns the original, which I absolutely love the scent of. I actually haven't given this one or Oh So Sheer a proper sniff yet, but I will have to! I absolutely love Katy :)
