It's no secret that I was completely smitten with the MAC x Sharon & Kelly Osbourne Collections that were released at the start of June in the US (see haul here). If you're in Australia and missed out on picking up the goodies, there's still hope for you. Whilst the collection was released online and in David Jones stores on Monday, August 4, it won't be available for purchase from Myer stores until tomorrow, August 15. I wanted to get this post up at the start of the month, before anyone released it, however an unexpected bought of sever tonsillitis put a stop to that. Sorry!
With all that in mind, I thought I'd take the opportunity to talk you through the collection and let you know what I love, what I like and what I'd recommend you overlook.
Kelly's Eyeshadow Quad in Bloody Brilliant
Sharon's Eyeshadow Quad in Duchess
Kelly's Blush in Cheeky Bugger | Kelly's Mineralize Skinfinish in Jolly Good (colours swatched side by side) | Sharon's Patentpolish Lip Pencil in Patentpink | Kelly's Lip Pencil in In Synch

As you can see, the MAC x Sharon & Kelly Osbourne collection has some truly amazing products in it and, let me tell you, the ones featured above aren't the whole collection. These are just the bits I had no self control with and picked up. New MAC collections can be really overwhelming so below you can find information on my top five products from these Osbourne women and why I'd recommend you pick them up!
There are two eyeshadow quads available, one from Kelly and one from Sharon. Kelly's is called Bloody Brilliant and it's my pick of the two. The palette contains a light frosted silver, soft plum, pale cool toned lilac and a dark plum. These shades work really nicely to create a soft and daytime appropriate purple look. The other quad, Sharon's offering, is Duchess and, although I like it, I do prefer Kelly's. I like Duchess but I sometimes find that the two copper shades are too orange/warm toned for my liking. For lips, I have two favourites. Kelly's Lipstick in Dodgy Girl is a really cool toned lavendar pink that I have gotten so much wear out of. Sharon's Patentpolish Lip Pencil in Patentpink is so, so nice. Again it's a lilac shade, this time though a lot more wearable, and the formula is really light and comfortable on the lips. This is definitely my 'go to' lip product for days where I want a more subtle lilac/cool toned pink lip. There are two face products that I've been really loving too. Kelly's Powder Blush in Cheeky Bugger is so lovely. MAC describes Cheeky Bugger as a peach brown though I'd be more inclined to call it a peach pink. Either way, it's a really brightening shade with just the right about of pigmentation. My final pick is another Kelly product, her Mineralize Skinfinish in Jolly Good. The light pink shade is really nice as an under eye brightener. It doesn't brighten or highlight enough to be a face highlighter but it's so lovely under the eyes. The bronze shade isn't very dark but I've found it to be a great bronzer for this time of year. There's enough colour to warm the face but not too much.
An honourable mention goes to In Synch which isn't a must have because it's a permanent MAC product. I really like this peachy pink lip pencil and find that it's so lovely under so many of my nude lipsticks.
Will you be trecking down to Myer to pick anything up from this collection? Did you already pick your favourite products? What's catching your eye?
