I have had the Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Masks* sitting in my skincare 'to try' drawer for quite some time now, chickening out every time I thought I'd mustered up the courage to give them a try. The Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask* is one of five face masks available from Lonvitalite, an Australian skincare brand that specialises in face, hand and eye masks to suite a range of skincare needs and concerns.
The C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask* is a moisturising face mask, claiming that the coconut milk 'penetrates into the deep layers of the skin to strengthen underlying layers'. It is also said to be good for acne and blemish prone skin. I always have reservations when testing a new mask as my skin can be quite sensitive but recently I threw caution to the wind, tested it out and today, a few days on, I'm here to tell you what I thought of it.
There's always been something about sheet face masks that has 'freaked' me out a little so applying the C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask* took some, well, balls. Each mask comes individually wrapped in a foil sachet, as you can see from the photo above, making each application very hygienic.
Application of the Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask* is easy, with the instructions printed on the back
1. Wash face clean and pat dry
2. Remove mask from satchel and open evenly
3. Apply mask to the face and smooth evenly into place
4. After 20 minutes, remove the mask and rinse with clean water
I look good, right?
Straight after removing the Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask* I was impressed. My skin felt smooth, soothed and, of course, hydrated. There was no evidence of irritation to my sensitive skin. There was, of course, extra product left on my face that I found very easy to wash off. I've heard that a few people actually rub that into their face for extra hydration but, for my first application, I decided to follow the instructions provided to me.
Two days on, my skin still looks and feels fantastic. I haven't broken out at all, something I was a little wary of as I wondered whether the mask would be too rich for my sometimes blemish prone skin, and my skin is looking really radiant. I have changed my skincare routine lately (post coming soon) which my skin seems to be responding to really well, however the Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask* has also definitely benefited it. I will definitely be using the rest of these masks when my skin is feeling a little lacklustre and needs a pamper!
I would really recommend the Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask* and I'm definitely interested in trying other masks from the range. It has been great for my skin and I hear this one is also really fantastic for people with dry skin or random troublesome dry patches.
