Bioderma Atoderm Crème* Review

Whether it's your face or your body, winter seems to be the time of year when skin dries out. I have fairly oily skin so I rarely find my face drying out, however I'll often suffer from dry elbows and such. While these seem to be okay at the moment, I've found that other parts of my body have developed the odd dry patch or two and the only thing that'll fix them is the Bioderma Atoderm Creme*.

Bioderma's Atoderm Creme* is a nourishing body lotion for dry to very dry skin which identifies as being sensitive. I don't, by any means, have dry skin but it's nice to know that this product is formulated for sensitive skin types. I was told about a lot of Bioderma products when I met with the General Manager of Cosmetiques de France, the Australian distributor of French democosmetiques brands such as Bioderma (blog post about our breakfast here), however I do believe that this product is also recommend for people with eczema.

The Bioderma Atoderm Creme* is a fairly thick moisturiser. The information I've received says it can be used on the face and body, however I feel like it would be much too heavy for my face so I only use it on my body. I don't tend to get dry skin all over, rather the odd dry patch here 'n' there, and I find that one or two uses of the Bioderma Atoderm Creme* rectifies the situation almost instantly. I'll apply a thin layer all over the body, concentrating extra product on areas that need additional moisture.

Bioderma's Atoderm Creme* is a really great and hydrating body moisturiser that I would highly recommend for the body. It's unfragranced and without any bells and whistles, meaning it's great for sensitive skin. I would highly recommend this product. I'm not sure where to pick up the 500mL bottle shown above but I know that a 200mL tube can be picked up from Priceline for $23.99.

Have you tried the Bioderma's Atoderm Creme*? What did you think of it? What's your favourite winter body lotion?

*This product was sent to me, however all opinions are my own. I was not paid for this review
