Kosmea Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost* Review

Although the Aesop Oil Free Facial Hydrating Serum is extremely hydrating, as the same suggests, sometimes, especially when I'm sick, I feel like my skin needs a little more hydration. When I'm lacking moisture I tend to opt for an oil. I've previously used the Kosmea Skin Clinic Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil* (Trilogy has a nice one too) but my oil of choice at the moment is Kosmea's Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost*.

I was previously apprehensive about using facial oils however, after delving into the word of rose hip oils, I am now aware of the undeniable skincare benefits and the Kosmea Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost* is no exception. This facial oil is rich in antioxidants to fight the ageing process for a glowing complexion, containing a multitude of lovely ingredients.

Some of the luscious ingredients in the Kosmea Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost* -
Certified Organic Rosehip Oil //  We all know about the benefits of a rosehip oil. It nourishes and protects the skin from environmental factors
Apricot Oil // Softens the appearance of fine lines and promotes a healthy glow
Seabuckthorn Oil // Reverses the effects of environmental damage and prevents further damage
Pomegranate Oil // Heals and hydrates the skin for an even complexion
Raspberry Oil // Diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and enhances skin's youthfulness

As I said before, this isn't a product I use daily. At the moment I feel like my skin is quite hydrated on a day to day basis so the Kosmea Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost* is a product that I pull out when I become unwell and my skin takes on the texture of sandpaper. I tend to apply this product at night and find that I wake up to a hydrated, refreshed and, dare I say it, almost healthy looking face the next morning.

When on the skin, the Kosmea Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost* feels a lot like their   Skin Clinic Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil* to me. The product has the same yellow/orange tint to it and they both have the same scent that I can only describe as black tea (my Mum, a black tea drinker, doesn't agree). It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving a slight oil residue to the touch.

Whilst I don't use the Kosmea Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost* regularly enough to comment on its anti ageing benefits, I do think it's a fantastic intensely moisturising product and I'd highly recommend it to people for that alone. Kosmea is available nationally at David Jones, selected pharmacies and Health Food Stores and you can pick this product up for $39.95 for 20mL.

Have you tried the Kosmea Certified Organic Radiance 24/7 Youth Boost*? What did you think of it? What's your favourite facial oil?

  1. This sounds amazing with the addition of the other oils. I love their original one, and while I don't need anti-aging for the moment, I'll definitely give this a go in the future!
