Benefit's Gimme Brow has been receiving a lot of hype in the beauty community since its release in late 2013. I picked this up earlier this year when I made a trip to Benefit's Brow Bar for my by monthly (yes, I need to get my act together) brow groom. I didn't want to give into temptation and pick it up because I've been so fond of my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Skinny Brow Pencil but I gave did because I wanted to see what all the hype was about.
Needless to say, all the hype is very warranted and this is a really lovely product.
The Benefit Gimme Brow is a tinted brow gel with small fibers in it to enhance and volumise the brows. It comes in two shades that are surprisingly versatile, Light/Medium and Medium/Deep. The small brush is the perfect size to get each individual brow hair, tinting the skin and hairs to create the illusion of more volumised brows whilst the gel helps to define them and keep them in place throughout the day.
I have before and after pictures which I'm about to show you be beware, my brows are in desperate need of a trip to the Brow Bar!

I don't do a lot to my brows. On a day to day basis I don't like them to be too defined, as you can see from the photos above, but I definitely like to use my Beneft Gimme Brow in Medium/Dark to create a more defined brow and fill in some sparse patches. In the photos above I was using this as a standalone product, however I'll layer it over the top of my favourite brow powder or Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Skinny Brow Pencil if I want a more defined and 'put together' look.
The Benefit Gimme Brow is available from Benefit Cosmetic counters Australia wide for $32.00AU, as well as on their website (which happens to ship internationally) for $22.00US. It is a really lovely product that I highly recommend and I think it's definitely worth the not-so-cheap pricetag.
Have you tried the Benefit Gimme Brow? What did you think of it? What's your go to eyebrow product?
Love the results! I've heard nothing but good things about the Gimme Brow. The results look pretty natural too.
ReplyDeleteAnd girl, my eyebrows are in a way worse state haha! I've never gone to get the groomed and I pluck them but then get too lazy to repluck them constantly

This product sounds amazing, and the end result looks really good - it definitely thickens up the brows! I really want to try it, but I'm unsure of whether this shade would suit my black hair.

I'm curious how it would work with my thick, black brows. I don't think the colour would be dark enough somehow. Looks fabulous on your brows though!

Looks awesome! I am yet to use a brow tint because I was so apprehensive with how they work, but this looks like it turned out so nicely!
