About a week ago I wrote about the SensatioNail Fuse Gelnamel Starter Kit* and how I found the application of the Fuse GelNamel. This post can be found here. Today I'm back to tell you how it wore, what I think and how I took it allll off.
The photo above is of my nails after five days. As you can see, my GelNamel manicure peeled and chipped which is a little disappointing from a gel manicure. The SensatioNail Fuse Gelnamel Starter Kit* says that the gel manicure should last for approximately seven days. In saying that though, I've had a few Shellac manicures in the past and they have all peeled off after day 2. This one lasted more than two days and maybe it's something to do with my nails?
Anyway, to remove the manicure I used the SensatioNail GelNamel Polish Removal Kit*. This kit contains a manicure stick, double-sided nail buffer, 30 x foil removal wraps and gel polish remover. This kit retails for $24.99 and can be bought from Priceline. I followed the instructions on the box (as well as featured in the image above) and I found the process to be quite seamless and pain-free. I didn't let the nails soak for 10-15 minutes, purely because I'm very impatient, so found myself doing a bit more scrubbing with the manicure stick but that's no one's fault but my own.
All in all, I am a bit on the fence about the SensatioNail Fuse Gelnamel manicure system. I like the concept, I really do, however I haven't had the amazing results I was hoping for so I'm not sure if it's worth the faff (have I been watching too many UK beauty vloggers? Possibly). I really love the fact that the light is USB powered as I almost always paint my nails whilst on the computer anyway and I think all the products are really great value.
If you really like gel nails, I think the SensatioNail Fuse Gelnamel manicure system is worth a look. If, however, you're like me and you've never really gotten along with gel manicures, you might want to purchase a good top coat and be done with it.

What do you think about gel manicures? Do they last on you?
I actually think this is the best thing since slice bread... Yep I did just say that. But I found it worked really well for me. I have super long nails though so I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

I've never tried gel nails before. But it'll probably chip on me since I have like, no nails and everything chips on me. Haha.

Behind The Frames
Not even a full weeks wear makes this not worth the time and money for me. I loath removing gel polish but am forgiving if it lasts a long time.
