Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm* Review

When I met with the General Manager of Cosmetiques de France, a Melbourne based company distributing dermocosmĂ©tiques from France, one of the main products he raved about was the Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm*. I was so interested in hearing about this product (I'm a sucker for a nourishing lip balm) so they were kind enough to send it to me recently.

I have been using the Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm* every day for the past few weeks and now I'm here to tell you what I think!

Nuxe's Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm* is a thick, thick textured lip balm in a luxurious feeling glass jar. Nothing feels better than some good quality packaging, don't you think? Whilst the lip balm is thick, it also is slightly textured. The word grainy is all that comes to mind, though it definitely doesn't feel like grains of sand. I'm not sure what causes the product to feel this way, though it always becomes smooth once it applies to the lips.

I have found that the Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm* is a beautiful, incredibly moisturising lip balm. The thick texture I've talked about previously melts slightly once applied to the lips, making it a far more comfortable and wearable product. I don't have very dry or chapped lips, I'll be honest. I apply lip balm multiple times a day and if I'm sick and my lips do dry out, they're back to normal stat. With all that in mind, I can't comment on how it rescues the driest of lips. What I can say, however, is that Nuxe's Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm* ensures that lips remain nourished, soft and completely comfortable.

The finish of the lip balm is very unique. It is natural, leaning towards a matte finish. This is not something you see often in a lip balm and I really like that. I think it's a great lip balm to be applied under lip sticks on days when you feel that your lips need a little pick me up.

The one thing that completely baffles me about Nuxe's Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm* is the scent. I think it smells like orange, my Mum is convinced it smells like lime and one of the releases say it's grapefruit, lemon and honey. Regardless of which fruit it is exactly, let's just agree that it's in the citrus family. If you like citrusy scents, you'll really like this.

Nuxe's Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm* is available from Priceline stores nationwide now. Not all Priceline stores stock the entire Nuxe range that's available here in Australia, though every one I've been to had has had this product. It retails for $19.95 and there is 20g of product so you're definitely getting your monies worth!

Have you tried the Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm? What did you think of it?

*This product was sent to me, however all opinions are my own. I was not paid for this review

  1. So many people rave about this lip balm and I definitely want to try it! It is a bit pricey, but considering you get so much product it doesn't seem too bad! I absolutely love citrus scents so that's even more of an in-scent-ive! Haha, see what I did there...

  2. Unquestionably consider that that you said. Your favourite reason appeared to be
on the net the simplest thing to keep in mind of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed whilst
other folks consider concerns that they just don't recognise about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the highest and also defined out the entire thing without having side effect , folks could take a signal.
Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
