Essence Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner Pen* Review

Felt tipped liquid eyeliners are definitely my favourite type of liquid eyeliner. They're so easy to apply, convenient to use and comfortable to work with. My favourite for quite some time has been the Maybelline Master Precise but I recently found Essence's Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner Pen* rolling around in my drawer and I decided to give it a shot.

The Essence Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner Pen* is an extremely black liquid liner with a nice and precise tip. The tip has a good flow, allowing for an even application of eyeliner and the precise tip means that the line can be as this or thin as one wants.

This eyeliner wears really nicely. It has great lasting power, as the name suggests, and I haven't ever found that it faded throughout the day. This isn't, however, waterproof. I discovered this the hard way, having one too many laughs with a friend and realising that my watering eyes are making my eyeliner smudge in every direction. Eeek!

If you're look good a good quality eyeliner at an even better price, don't look past the  Essence Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner Pen*. If, however, you have watery eyes or a looking for a liquid liner that's water friendly, you may want to keep looking. The Essence Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner Pen* can be bought from Target and Priceline stores for $4.95!
Have you tried the Essence Stays No Matter What Waterproof Eyeliner Pen*? What's your favourite liquid liner?

  1. Thanks for the review :) I was looking at this but heard that it didn't really live up to its claims.

    1. It's a really nice eyeliner with a great tip to apply with, it just definitely isn't waterproof. :( x

  2. I for one am very paranoid of spontaneously crying, or rain falling to my face (lol) so I'll probably give this one a miss. It sounds great in all other respects though!

    1. It's so funny you say that, Tasha, because I have an irrational fear of all that too! You know what? A raindrop fell directly into my eye this morning so maybe it's not irrational after all. If it actually was waterproof it'd be such a fantastic bargain buy. X
