I love my moisturising and hydrating shampoos, don't get me wrong, but I use so many hydrating and nourishing products that occasionally I feel like I need something that gives a bit more of a deep clean. I tried a few clarifying shampoos in the past that were just 'okay' so when I heard great things about about Bumble and Bumble's Sunday Shampoo I decided to splurge.
The Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo is a gentle, yet effective, shampoo that detoxifies the hair, removing product residue. It also said that it removes hard water minerals and pollutants so you be the judge of that. Up until quite recently I was using this product once, if not twice, a week to provide my hair with a really deep clean and I didn't find that it dried my hair out, nor did it make it difficult to manage immediately after use.
Using the Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo gives me a super clean hair feeling that I don't often experience from other shampoos, even though I do wash my hair every second day. It has a pleasant and clean scent that fits the product perfectly. A small amount of product goes quite a long way too, which is nice given the price, and is lathers up beautifully.
The Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo isn't cheap, retailing at $38.00 for a 250mL bottle from Mecca Cosmetica stores, but if you're going to use it sparingly I think it's a great investment. I haven't used it as much since I dyed the tips of my hair red, purely because I feel like it could strip the colour, but I will admit I've used it on the odd occasion.
