The Perfect Red Lip Trio: An Illamasqua Valentine's Day

I've always really loved the look of red lips on other people but I've never really rocked it on myself. To be honest, I don't really think that red lips suit me and I've very found a red lip/red lip combo that I've been smitten with. Until now, that is.. 

This year Illamasqua is re-promoting three of their beautiful red lip products, including a brand new lip gloss, just in time for Valentine's Day! To read all about the product and see swatches, keep reading!

Illamasqua Colouring Pencil in Feisty* | Illamasqua Lipstick in Maneater* | Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Touch*

All three of these products are the most beautiful shades of red. The Illamasqua Colouring Pencil in Feisty* is one of the richest, most creamy lip pencils I've ever tried. There was absolutely no pulling across the lips when I tried it and it filled the whole lip in beautifully. Maneater*, the lipstick, is, again, a beautifully creamy colour. It is a creme formula that feels very comfortable on the lips and has great lasting power, especially when teamed with Feisty. Finally, the Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Touch* is so unique. It's a beautiful shade of red, just like the other two lip products, but it also has a frost to it that makes it differ slightly in colour. As you can see from the swatches above, it's an incredibly pigmented gloss that would be worn alone or on top of other lip products. 

Even as someone who doesn't sport the red lip often, I would highly recommend all three of these lip products. They're the only ones I've put on my lips that haven't made me feel totally uncomfortable and I think they might be the inspiration I need to get my red lip on!
