TOP PRODUCTS OF 2013: Haircare and Styling

Over the past twelve months I've had the opportunity to test a lot of products; some were good, some were average and some were truly remarkable. I've compiled a list of make up, hair care, skin care and miscellaneous beauty favourites of 2013, the stand out products that have really surpassed everything else in my collection. Today I'm here to share the third instalment with you, the hair bits! To read about what make up I loved in 2013, click here. To read about what skincare I loved in 2013, click here.

I had a small sample sachet of the Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm that I somehow acquired and somehow used one night on a whim. Love! The next day I went out, bought a tube and I haven't looked back. I'm on my second tube of this super nourishing hair treatment and I haven't looked back. I'll be doing a full review of this soon. I use so many moisturising products in my hair that I find it came become quite oily. Cue the Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo. This clarifying shampoo leaves your hair feeling squeaky clean, yet it doesn't seem to dry it out. For styling, there are two products that Have been by my side, the Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray* and the KMS Free Shape Hot Flex Spray. The Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray* gives the most amazing and effortless look to my already curly hair, whilst the KMS Free Shape Hot Flex Spray helps any style I've created with heat to hold. Curls around my face always go flat without the help of this little guy!

What have been your haircare and hair styling savours this year?

    1. I'm not too familiar with Toni & Guy products but, after falling for the Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray, I'm open to trying more. I've tried Moroccan Oil products and found they made my hair really fluffy. Too fluffy. I am, however, quite fond of Macadamia Oil. X
