Collective Holiday Haul: Christmas and Shopping Bits

During the eight day period I had off over Christmas and the New Year I learnt something about myself; given any opportunity I will shop. I think I could shop my way out of any situation and, quite frankly, it's probably not the best. Over a few different shopping trips I 'treated' myself to quite a few bits and pieces and, whilst not all my purchases were relevant to my blog, I'll show you the bits that were!

Firstly, I picked up the Clarisonic Mia2 just before Christmas and I'm really liking it so far. I've used it for a week and a half and I think I've noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. I've had a mini breakout on my forehead (the start of the purging period, I suspect) but I Clarisonic has also helped reduce the healing time so it's worth it. I grabbed two Essie nail polishes during a recent 2 for $20.00 sale at Priceline. It would've been rude of me not to, don't you think? I thought so. I grabbed Copper Penny, a rose gold/copper colour that I'm really not too sure about, as well as Ballet Slippers, a really sheer pale pink polish that looks amazing after three coats.

For Christmas I was gifted the Taylor by Taylor Swift Eau De Parfum and I really, really like it. The bottle is super sweet and I think the scent is lovely. It's quite different to her other two, Wonderstruck and Wonderstruck Enchanted, but she probably needed to mix it up a bit.
A Kate Hill store has recently opened up in my local shopping centre (bad) and I recently popped in to 'have a looked'. 10 minutes and $29.99 later I was heading out with my newest bag, the Marlee Quilt Bag in Black. This bag isn't bit enough to replace my every day (though I really need to, it's falling apart) but it's the perfect night out/popping-to-the-shop type piece. I have been lusting over Kate Spade wallets, tech accessories and earrings for the longest time and when I was in David Jones last week I cracked. Yup, I bought myself the beautiful Kate Spade Glitter Bug Stacy Wallet in Rose Gold. It's a beautiful piece that, no, I probably didn't need but it's satisfied my Kate Spade thirst, at least for now!

Finally, I've become quite fond of T2 Fruit Tisanes (iced tea) recently. In January of last year I bought a small box of Fruitalicious and never tried it. I don't know why, I just didn't. Christmas Day my Aunty came around with a bit jug of it and mmmm, in that moment I remember how good it was. I quickly raced out to T2 and bought a whole tin of Fruitalicious, as well as a flavour I really don't like and a jug to make it myself.

Over the Christmas break I also picked up the Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep, the darker of the two shade, and for Christmas I was gifted the VS Sassoon Big Hair Soft Curls curling tool. For some reason I forgot to photograph these two products.

What do you think of my shopping purchases? Does anyone else have a shopping problem?
