I am a huge fan of champagne eyeshadows so I'm sure it came as no surprise that I added the Stila individual eyeshadow in Kitten to my cart when I was placing my most recent Sephora order. I mean, seriously is there any beauty blogger that doesn't own it at this point?
Kitten is a shimmering nude pink eyeshadow that is a lot warmer in tone than I expected, yet is an absolutely lovely shade. The somewhat neutral undertones means that Kitten eyeshadow works well with any eyeshadow combination, unlike Urban Decay's Sin which I find looks best with other cool toned eyeshadows. The eyeshadow has a somewhat frosty finish that looks so lovely on the lid and works beautifully for any look.
The Stila Kitten eyeshadow is honestly one of the smoothest, most buttery eyeshadows I've ever worked with. It's borderline 'too' soft, if that's even possible, but it's an absolute delight to use. My favourite way to use this eyeshadow is with a fluffy brush. I find applying the eyeshadow with a flat shader brush or my finger pack on too much product and almost give my eyes a foiled look as opposed to a wash of champagne colour.
I highly recommend the Stila Kitten eyeshadow, especially if you're someone who, like me, loves champagne shadows and how versatile they can be! I think that it would work really nicely for so many skintones, especially for all you pale ladies.
The Stila Kitten eyeshadow retails for $29.00AU at Mecca Cosmetica, $19.60AUD from Beauty Bay or $18.00US from Sephora. You can also get this eyeshadow in many different Stila palettes, a great way to try a number of Stila eyeshadows at once.
Have you tried this eyeshadow before? Are there any other Stila eyeshadows you'd recommend? I'd love to try more from their range.
Always look your best,
