Last weekend I wanted to head out and do a few things but I didn't want to wear a full face of make up so I came up with this look. It's nothing innovative at all but I did pull out a few products I don't think I use enough, as well as some that I haven't really given a fair chance.
It's no surprise that I primed with Benefit's POREfessional. On my face I used the Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touché Éclat as my base, Yves Saint Laurent Touché Éclat under my eyes and the Essence Match 2 Cover Cream Concealer on blemishes. I blended them all out with the Beauty Blender. As always, I set it with my MAC Studio Fix Powder in C2. I've started applying NARS' Laguna Bronzer in the 3 - E motion over the face again and I really love the glow/shape it gives, especially for days where I don't want a full on contour. I've been loving my Illamasqua Powder Blush in SOPHIE so much that I felt like I needed to use something else. I used NARS' Orgasm Powder Blush and, nope, it's not as good!
I used the Estee Lauder Pure Color Five Color EyeShadow Palette in Desert Heat for the my eye look. For some reason it's the first time I used the palette and I absolutely love it. I can't wait to create more dramatic looks with it. I'm in love with the Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara at the moment so it was only natural that I used it.
Finally, I grabbed the first lipgloss I could find which happened to be a favourite, MAC's Lipglass in Viva Glam Nicki.
So that's my super natural make up look for the days where I want to be out the door stat. but don't want to be bare faced. What are your tips for a no makeup makeup look? I'd love to know.
Also, I want to get more into FOTD posts because sometimes I create looks I feel like I really need to share with y'all. If there's anything you'd like to see me create, please let me know!!

ReplyDeleteLoving your eye shadow! Very happy to see that you reviewed this product, as it was one that I was considering using for my wedding! I had narrowed it down between Estee Lauder or Dior. Thank you! :) x
