Ever since I started working again I've tossed about the thoughts of resubscribing to a beauty subscription service. I love the idea of the boxes and now that I'm working and not shopping as much (even when I'm not participating in a shopping ban I just don't have the time) I like the idea of products arriving at my doorstep monthly. The only thing was that I couldn't decide which box I wanted to resubscribe to. I was fairly set on Lust Have It!, although I hadn't yet subscribed, when I received an email from their team inviting me to be an affiliate. I'm not one for signs and all that jazz but hey, that definitely sounded like a sign to me!
Long story short, I resubscribed to Lust Have It!. My first box will be arriving this month, in August, but the Lust Have It! team were kind enough to send me the July box and I couldn't be more thankful and I was so envious of other people's! Me oh my, beauty subscription boxes sure have changed since I was last subscribed!
I've decided to change the layout of my beauty subscription posts a little because, well, now I look at how I used to structure them I just don't like it.
When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was the dramatic difference in packaging. Instead of the cosmetic bags that were being sent when I was last subscribed, the contents of the box now come in beautiful boxes. The quality of the box feels fantastic and, with a magnetic closure, I'm sure I'll find a use for them!
Nude by Nature Natural Tinted Mineral Moisturiser with Sunscreen
This is probably the only thing in the box that I'm not that enthused about. I've owned this before and I just didn't think it did a lot for me. For now I'll keep it sealed but I no one wants to take it off my hands I might give it a try.
Knotties by Condition Culture Hair Ties
I absolutely love ribbon hair ties like these as I'm sure you saw if you read my Sephora haul. I only ever buy them in very neutral colours so I'm so excited to have some that are a bit more festive! These ones will look great around the wrist too.
Colorsmash by Condition Culture Hair Shadow
The colour of this hair shadow excites me far more than it should! Before I dyed my hair back to a solid colour, I was so tempted to dye the blonde ends of my ombre hair a turquoise colour but I wasn't brave enough. Now I can have it whenever I want!
Goldwell Styledesign Horm Form Heat Styling Lotion
Heat protectants are great, yes, but I really love it when they also assist in holding a hair style, reducing the need for additional products. This product says it aids in holding shape also which means it's a winner in my eyes. I haven't been heat styling my hair lately but I'll definitely be putting this to the test when I do.
Swisse Hand Cream with Vitamin F and Pomegranate
I received this hand cream in my November Bellabox and absolutely fell in love with it! There's a tube sitting on my desk at work so I'm so happy to have another to use when I finish my Soap & Glory Hand Food.
Natralus NatraSan Antibacterial Hand Sanitiser Chamomile & Apple Blossom Spray
This is going straight in my hand bag. I catch the train (two trains, actually) to and from work everyday so I love carrying hand sanitiser with me but I have no idea where my Soap and Glory Hand Maid went! This spray has no alcohol in it so it won't be as drying on my hands as most hand sanitisers.
Health Essentials Maqui Berry Active
This is one of those sachets that's meant to be fully of good things. I've been sick a fair bit lately so, hey, I may as well give it a try..
