I've owned my Korres Lip Butter in Quince for a while now and, for a lot of that time, I never used it. The lip balm sat in the back of my drawer and I think a lot of that was to do with the fact that's it a potted product. Anyway, regardless of why, I pulled it out a few months ago and holy guacamole, why have I not been using this my whole life?
To find out why I love these Lip Butters, keep reading!
The Korres Lip Butters are some of the most moisturising lip balms I've ever tried. I don't often use them during the day, purely because the pot can make it quite inconvenient, but I slather them onto my lips at night and, in the morning, I find my lips to be more moisturised than they are with any other lip product!
These lip butters have a super thick and buttery texture, something that's definitely fitting to a product with butter in the name (seriously, could I have said butter anymore in that sentence?). Whilst they are thick, they're also very smooth and apply like a dream to the lips. These lip butters also absorb quite quickly into the lips, whilst leaving them moisturised for quite some time.
The Korres Lip Butters come in a variety of shades/flavours, from a clear (Jasmine) to deep sheer rose (Wild Rose). Initially I owned this product in just one colour, Quince (sheer rose). Given that I like to apply this product before bed, I'm sure you can imagine how colourful my white pillowcases are. Anyway, I recently decided to pick up another one, this time in Pomegranate (sheer coral).

The tint of these products is quite noticeable and will stay on the lips for about an hour (an estimate), with the moisture staying as long as 4-5 hours.
Also, I just wanted to mention the scent of these products. They smell different but not like their colour name, if that makes sense. For example, the pomegranate Lip Butter does not smell like pomegranate. This is a great thing for me because my Mum's allergic to the scent of Jasmine and, given that I want to pick up the Jasmine Lip Butter, I can be assured that it won't give her a migraine!
The Korres Lip Butters can be purchased from Kit Cosmetics for $18.95 or ASOS for $12.76.
Have you tried the Korres Lip Butters? Do you love them as much as I do? What's your favourite flavour?
Always look your best,
Sophie
