Unauthorised Shopping Haul #2

I know I'm participating in Project Pan at the moment but yesterday I cracked. I recently got back to Perth and, after being in a small country town for two weeks, I needed to get back to civilisation.

I only went to Priceline because I wanted to ensure I didn't spend too much money and, whilst I didn't buy a lot, I still spent more than I was meant to - none.
Essence Cherry Blossom Girl Paper Lashes | Essence Stay All Day Long Lasting Eyeshadow in #09 For Fairies | Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Nude | Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder in Dark Brown | Manicare Cosmetic Pencil Sharpener

Essence has released a new collection, Cherry Blossom Girl, and it looks absolutely beautiful. It was meant to hit the shelves of Priceline on January 4, however my Priceline didn't have the stock on display on January 8. When I asked someone I was told the stock had just arrived and asked to tell her what I wanted. I intended to check out the whole collection I couldn't really tell her that, especially when she was being so helpful, so I just asked for a pair of the Essence Cherry Blossom Girl Paper Lashes. These lashes are beautiful and I think they're going to sell out fast. I'll definitely be grabbing more. These lashes are $4.50

As soon as I saw the Essence Stay All Day Long Lasting Eyeshadow in #09 For Fairies I had to get it. I've been using Urban Decay's Sin eyeshadow a lot lately and I think this is going to be so beautiful as a base for it. This cream eyeshadow was $5.50.

There has been so much hype surrounding the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes eyeliners so I decided to give them a try. I could have grabbed any colour but I have a million black eyeliners and I want to compare it to my MAC Chromographic Eyeliner in NC15/NW20. I'm planning on writing a whole highlighting eyeliner post so stay tuned! This eyeliner is $9.95.

I finished my MAC Studio Fix Powder recently and broke my Maybelline Mineral Power Finishing Veil so I had no powder to set my foundation or touch up throughout the day. I bought this powder in the second shade, Deep Natural, before I went away but it's now too light for me. Hello, tan! This powder was $11.40.

Somehow I managed to lose my eyeliner sharpener and, well, I needed to replace it. Every liner I own was getting blunt. This sharpener was $5.99.

Finally, I picked up an Essence Stay With Me Lip Gloss in #01 Me & My Ice Cream, a blue toned  light pink. I forgot to include this product in the photo because it was in my handbag by the time I got home, not the Priceline bag. Oops. This lip gloss was $3.95.

So that's everything I got today. I didn't get as much as I could have, however I shouldn't have done any shopping at all. You know what? I'm not even sorry! I'm too excited to try out my new products. Anyway, I have a lot of posts in mind, some of which will feature the products I've hauled today. Do you have any requests, however? You know how much I love 'em!

Always look your best,
Sophie

  2. At least you cheated for some nice products, right? I had a look at the whole Cherry Blossom line and picked up quite a bit, the blush is probably my favourite thing though. I have that Rimmel liner, it is wonderful :)

    1. That's exactly what I thought, Emma! I had issues with my Priceline and the Essence Cherry Blossom Girl Trend Edition when I went back AFTER this haul, but I managed to pick up another few products. I'll be hauling them too. I'm enjoying the liner too, yeah! I will be comparing it to my MAC Chromographic liner soon. x

  4. Oh Sophie, you naughty girl! Haha, it's all stuff you NEED though, right. Right!?

I'm on a shopping ban. Did 2 lots of orders with Sephora, and 3 others on other websites. That's 5 bulk orders in the space of 2-3 weeks!

I love the paper eyelashes but I just dont think I can pull them off!

    1. Exactly, Anna! I'm soo glad you understand. Ahaha! Your Sephora and other orders makes my little shopping expedition sound like nothing. You'll have to tell me net time you're placing an order. Would love to get on that!

As for the paper lashes, I'll be saving them for costume parties or something. Definitely not for everyday wear. xx
