November Favourites, 2012

November has been a great month for me. As you may know, I've spent the past two years studying a Community Services and Youth Work at Certificate III, IV and Diploma level. Two weeks ago I finally finished all my course work and, in two weeks time I'll have finished the last of my work experience. Whilst this is in an exciting time for me, I'm also frantically trying to find a job in the industry. Wish me luck!

This month I rediscovered some products I've love but have forgotten about, possibly because I've been trying other things. Let's get into it!

Firstly, Make Up For Ever's HD Foundation always manages to impress me. It's such a great foundation and I absolutely love the way it wears on my skin. There's nothing else to really say about it. It's just fantastic.

I fell in love with an eye look this month. As always, I start the look with my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I then apply MAC's Wedge (described on MAC's site as a 'soft muted golden beige taupe'). Using my E.L.F. Cosmetics Eye Crease Brush I apply Inglot's #396 Freedom Palette Eyeshadow to my inner corner. Finally, Napoleon Perdis' Loose Eye Dust in #36 Champagne is applied to the mobile lid. This eye look brightens up my eyes, adding shimmer and a colour that makes my blue eyes pop. If I don't want to use Napoleon Perdis' Loose Eye Dust in #36 Champagne, I find myself gravitating towards Essence's The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn Part 2 Loose Eyeshadow Pigment in #03 A Piece of Forever

Regardless of the look I've been creating this month, however, Inglot's #396 Freedom Palette Eyeshadow has been a part of it. It's an amazingly versatile inner corner colour and it's absolutely beautiful.

I rediscovered my NARS Blush in Orgasm this month. Whilst I always liked the colour, I thought it applied very strange. Using my Sigma F05 Small Contour Brush, however, I get the perfect amount every time! The shimmer in the product also means a highlighter isn't an essential. Yay.

Lastly I've been loving my Almay Get Up and Grow mascara in black. This product came in my July Bellabox and I've been using it up as a part of Project Pan. I will be reviewing this mascara in the coming weeks so stay tuned!

What are you loving this month? Have you entered my Christmas giveaway (linked in the picture below)? Also, how are you going with your Christmas shopping?
Always look your best,
Sophie
