MAC Holiday Collection Haul, 2012

Whilst I really like MAC products, I'm not someone who goes crazy over their collections. In general, I prefer to fall in love with products from permanent lines as I know I can always access them. In saying this, however, I fell in love with their Holiday Collections this year.

I couldn't justify paying the Australian retail price for these items so I decided to use the American postal redirection service PriceUSA. For any questions on this company and the process, just let me know!
Devine Desire Face Kit in Quite Coral
Powder Blush in Born to Love | Cremesheen Lipstick in In a Heartbeat | Lipglass in Pure Flattery | Technakohl Liner in Photogravure and 139SE Powder/Blush Brush
$125.00AUD or $70.00US
Primped Out Lip Look Bag in Luxurious Pink
Cremesheen Lipstick in Lickable | Cremesheen Glass in Call me Gorgeous | Lip Pencil in Great Catch
$89.00AUD or $39.50US

I've been loving corals and hot pinks at the moment so these kits really appealed to me. I tried to take swatches to this post but the lighting was terrible. I'll be reviewing each kit individually so stay tuned.

Just so you have a bit of an idea about how much I saved, let's add up the totals. I paid $109.50 for these products from the US, as opposed to $214.00 if I was to buy them here in Australia. That's basically half price! I also paid about $20.00 in postage and service charges, but with such a significant saving that doesn't even matter!

So far I'm loving these kits. Given that I broke Project Pan to buy them I tried to stop myself use these products until I finished it but I'm not doing too well. It's so hard knowing there's shiny new make up I can't use. I haven't been using everything though, mind you - Just the beautiful coral lipstick from the Quite Coral kit, In a Heartbeat.

Did you buy anything from the MAC holiday collections? Do you love it? Also, would you like to see reviews of these products and/or a post about PriceUSA, the redirection service I used? Let me know!
Always look your best,
Sophie

    1. It's so pretty, Amber! I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet. PI think I might need to just display it, ahah!
As for the prices, I know! It's absolutely ridiculous. Even with the postage forwarding I saved a substantial amount. xx
