Goodbye, Black Nail Polish

In October I uploaded a Nail Polish Collection post. As I said in the post, I'm pretty boring when it comes to nail polishes and I like to stick to neutrals, purely because I find that they go with everything.

I've always been one for black nail polish. I find it works well with every outfit and, to be honest, I don't think it looks that bad as it starts to chip. It all adds to the look, right? Lately, however, I've been making a conscious effort to try to be more creative with my nail polishes and, as much as it pains me to say it, I love bright nail polishes! Who'da thunk it? 

My colourful nail polish collection started with California Coral, a polish that I received in a goodie bag at a recent hair show. To be honest, I think this was the colour that inspired me to be more adventurous with my nails. 

Maybelline Mini Colorama in #120 Urban Turquoise 

On a recent trip to Priceline I bought a Maybelline Mini Colorama nail polish in #120 Urban Turquoise. Once again, this has become a favourite of mine. I will be reviewing this nail polish in the coming weeks so look out for it.

A few weeks ago I was having trouble getting to sleep so, instead of feeling sorry for myself, I made a list of bright nail polishes that I'd love to add to my collection. Surprisingly, the next day I was lucky enough to receive a parcel from Ulta3 with six of their upcoming nail polishes. Perfect timing! I love every single one of those polishes and can not wait to share them all with you (I'm slowly getting photos of each colour as I change my nails, so stay tuned). 

My nail polish shopping list features a range of pastel and bright coloured polishes and is as follows-

• Wet 'n' Wild Megalast Nail Colour in I Need a Refresh-Mint (ordered off eBay and waiting for it to arrive) 
• Wet 'n' Wild Megalast Nail Colour in Club Havana 
• Wet 'n' Wild Megalast Nail Colour in Tropicalia 

A couple of these colours seem similar to those I received from Ulta3, so I may be able to cull a couple from my list but, as I'm sure you can imagine, I'l be able to add more in their place.
