BellaBox June, 2012

I've been thinking about subscribing for a while now but couldn't justify spending $45 a month on three subscriptions; Lust Have It!, Glossy Box AND Bella Box. After the Lust Have It! and Glossy Box merge, I, once again, thought about subscribing to Bella Box but was on the fence. I've always like a product or two in their boxes but, as of yet, no box had ever stood out at me. There was recently a Scoopon for the first Bella Box for $7.00 so I finally decided to do it.

Anyway, my first Bella Box arrived today and I'm super impressed. It was posted about a week ago and the shipping time was fairly normal for shipping across Australia.

I'm really happy with this month's box! As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the best one that they've ever released and I'm really excited to share the contents with you all.
Much like Glossy Box, BellaBoxes comes in a reusable box. The boxes are packaged in a folding up box, as opposed to a mailing box, and I thought that was really cool. Simple things amuse me, obviously.

Like all other boxes I'm subscribed to, the box also contained an information card with information about the product, a

I only received this box today, so I'm unable to review the products. Instead, I'll type out the information provided to me so you're able to get some insight into the items. If possible, I'll also include my initial thoughts.
Benefit Porefessional Pro Balm - RRP $58.00
I received a 7.5mL tube of this product
"Question - What gets you down in the dumps? Visible pores! Benefit's silky smooth primer will turn your frown around and minimise your pores for a flawless base. Lightweight and oil-free, this translucent balm complements any skin tone. Use under or over make up for 'porefect' skin, every time."
For me, this was the most exciting thing in this box by far! I've wanted to try this primer for ages now, so I'm so glad to have a sample! It's a great sized sample, too, at just under three times smaller than a full size. I'll definitely get quite a few uses out of this!
Pure Fiji Body Butter - RRP $29.95
I received a small tub (not sure what size) of this product
"The nourishing blends of exotic nut extracts combined with milk proteins in this delicious moisturiser rapidly hydrate, nourish and protect your skin. Available in a range of delicious flavours; if you can't get to Fiji for a relaxing holiday this winter, this body butter is the next best thing."
I'm not a huge fan of body butters but I'm willing to give this a try. If, for some reason, I decide I don't want to, it'll be great in a giveaway.
Kiss Dress Nails - RRP $12.99
I received a packet of these nail stickers in Camisole
"Want to deviate from block nail colours or the classic French mani? These press-on patterns and colours are for you! Bright colours mixed with sparkle and shine make this the go to product for at home nail art that has a professional 'wow' factor and no annoying drying time. Easy to apply and lasts up to a week."
As you can tell from the background of most of my photos, I'm a big fan of zebra print. I'm not too sure how I feel about have zebra print on my nails, but it might be great for doing accent nails. We'll see!
Facial Fresh Cloth Facial Treatment Mask - RRP $8.95
I received one face mask
"Deliver your skin all of the benefits of a weekly spa treatment within minutes with these refreshing cloth masks! They offer skin high absorption of the most advanced skin enhancing cosmeceutical ingredients, including clinically proven anti-oxidants, vitamins and botanicals and come in 6 different variations."
I've never done a cloth treatment before. I received one in a Lust Have It! box but I ended up giving that to my sister. I'm eager to try this product, although also apprehensive as I'm quite happy with my current skincare routine. Surely a one off can't stuff it up too much!

NAK Diamond Hair Polish - RRP $22.95
I received a 100mL tube of this product (to my knowledge this is full size)
" Did someone say hair winter wonder product? Nak diamond polish is a real multi- tasker. Defrizzes? Tick. Smooths? Tick. Moisturises? Tick. Can be used as a heat protectant, light hold styling product and to add shine? Triple tick! Run a small amount through clean hair for all these effects!"
At the moment my hair needs all the help it can get and this sounds fantastic. My hair needs a little bit of everything the information says this product can do so, if it can even do a half of that, I'm happy.
Fan Di Fendi Fragrance - RRP $95.00 for 30mL
I received a small sachet of the perfume
"With warm head notes of pear, blackcurrant and tangerine, a floral heart and base notes of velvety leather and patchouli, choosing the motto "Nothing is Impossible" Fan Di Fendi should be your winter choice of scent next time you're fresh from the shower and ready to take on the day!"
Unfortunately this perfume is in a sachet as opposed to a little bottle, so I'm unable to smell it until I open the sachet. Here's hoping I like it!
Olea Olive Leaf  Drops - RRP $6.00 for 12 drops
I received a pack of four drops
"Olea Olive Leaf Drops combined fresh picked Olive Leaf Extract with UMF 10+ Manuka honey for immune and cardiovascular support, as well as giving you a boost of antioxidant power. 100% natural and fast acting, pop one of these drops next time you feel the winter sniffles coming on!"
These sound bazaar, yet I'm really curious. I don't want to randomly try one in case they're gross, so I'm going to wait until I think I'm getting sick next.

So that was contents of my first ever BellaBox. As I said, I'm pretty impressed. In total there was 7 products in this month's box and, although they didn't all appeal to me, there was definitely enough to keep me happy. My favourite is definitely the Benefit Porefessional sample, although I'm looking forward to trying most of the products out.

What do you guys think of the contents of the box? What is your favourite item? Which subscription service do you like better, BellaBox or Lust Have It? So many questions - Would love your answers!

Always look your best,
