Soap & Glory Hand Food

I've never liked hand creams. They're greasy, smelly and I've never really thought they made a difference. One of my favourite beauty gurus on YouTube, Fleur from FleurDeForce, swears by this hand cream so I recently decided to give it a go. At $5.95 for 50mL, I figured I didn't really have anything to lose.
"Hand Food is a silky soft non-greasy hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow. Apply Hand as often as you want to soften, smooth and soothe dry, chapped or otherwise hampered hands."
- Taken from Kit Cosmetics
This hand cream is amazing! I've never committed to the same hand cream for long enough to notice any difference, but wow! I will be from now only.

I love the smell of this product. It's a smell I can't describe, but it's soo nice. I often think 'old lady' when I think hand cream (a perception I have to change now, for sure!) but this doesn't have an 'old lady' smell about it at all. The smell doesn't linger, either, which can be a good or a bad thing. I like it, but others might want their hands to smell delicious for longer!

The consistency of a hand cream is usually what turns me off, but this is perfect. The light/thin formula is absorbed into the skin quickly, but not too quickly, leaving it feeling smooth and refreshed. I don't feel the need to 'over rub' this product into my hands, which I love. Best of all, it's not greasy!

I bought this product a few of days after steam burning three of my fingers (to everyone reading - DO NOT take the lid off something that's been in the microwave as soon as the beeper goes off!). Given that my fingers became quite dry as they healed, this product was a lifesaver. I applied it once a day and, within a couple of days, the flakiness had reduced considerably.

Last but not least, let's look at the packaging of this product. How can you NOT like it?! I know my photo didn't do it justice but it's soo girly. I love the size of the 50mL tube, however I'll probably invest in the 150mL next!

Would I recommend this product? Definitely! It's such a fantastic product and has changed my views on hand creams forever.

Where can I buy it? Soap and Glory products can be found at Kit Cosmetics stores (individual stores and the counters in MYER). The product is $8.95 for 50mL or $11.95 for 150mL.

Have you tried this hand cream before? What did you think? What's your favourite hand cream?
