LUSH Sweetie Soap Stack Review

The Sweetie Soap stack is a stack of three of LUSH's most popular soaps; Godmother, Honey I Washed  the Kids and Rock Star. With three x 100g bars, there's 300g of soap.

Godmother: A soap that smells like their best selling shower gel, Snow Fairy.
Honey I Washed the Kids: A honey and toffee scented soap.
Rock Star: A sweet vanilla scented soap (although I prefer to describe it as a party for my nose).

I bought this soap stack in March of this year (as featured in my first LUSH Cosmetics haul). In typical Sophie style, I only had Rock Star on my shopping list but I splurged. The Lushie (LUSH sales assistant) recommended the stack when I contemplated buying a soap other than my favourite (by favourite I mean the only one I've ever tried 'cos I fell in love).

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed by this stack. In theory it's a perfect way to try out new soaps. Unfortunately, however, the smells all merged together, creating a Godmother + Honey I Washed the Kid + Rock Star hybrid soap. Although all three soaps have kept some of their original scent, it's definitely not like using a block of individual LUSH soap.

I know I haven't used Godmother or Honey I Washed the Kids before, I'm a big fan of Rock Star so I'm able to notice the difference in the scent.

Don't get me wrong, this definitely isn't a terrible product. I just think people are better off choosing their favourite soap scent and purchasing that one.

The soap stack has lasted me for ages. As mentioned previously, I've had this since March and I still have quite a bit of each soap to go. Don't get the wrong impression, I bathe daily, I just don't feel the need to overload myself with soap as it does a great job. I have approximately half of each soap yet.

To ensure I have variation, I cut the soap into small pieces, approximately 25g (a quarter of the piece) each. Smaller pieces means I'm able to alternate the soap I use.

Would I recommend this product? Yes and no. I think it'd make a pretty good gift for people, especially those who are fairly new to LUSH. If you have a favourite LUSH soap or are looking at trying something new, I'd suggest buying one soap alone.

Let me know if you've tried the Sweetie Soap Stack. Did the scents merge together for you? What did you think? Do you have any other LUSH Cosmetic review requests (products from haul#1 and haul#2)?

Always look your best,
Sophie
