Oh my goodness, it's almost the end of April. Eeek! I have so much to do in May and I can't believe it's just under two months until my sister's wedding. Obviously I'm excited for the whole thing, but I can't wait to see how my make up will be done.
I'm not sure if I'll do a favourites post next month, as I feel like I've been repeating myself a heck of a lot lately. I guess we'll just see..

As I'm sure you all can tell, my last favourite is LUSH. I've been there quite a bit lately, in fact I was in there today to buy stuff for my Aunty. I really like everything about the brand and it's fantastic to get to know all the different products. To see how my skin is going using only LUSH skincare, click here. This is the last week of the skincare challenge, so stay tuned for my final post this Wednesday.
This month I found out that my favourite mascara, Max Factor Lash Extension Effect Mascara, has been discontinued. Please don't ask me why because it's amazing, but it has been and I can no longer find it anywhere. I bought two in store the other day, as well as three off eBay, so I should be stocked up for quite some time.
I have a couple of questions for you all now and I'd love your answers, pretty please.
I have a couple of questions for you all now and I'd love your answers, pretty please.
- What beauty products you've been loving this month! I'm always looking for new products and you guys can always recommend the best stuff!
- Has anything you loved been discontinued? How did you find a replacement? I'm so stuck!
- Should I do a favourites post next month or are they getting too repetitive? Remember: Products from my skincare routine will probably feature.
Always look your best,
Sophie

Stuff I've loved: Lip butters 2 for 1 at priceline, bought 4 becuase I NEVER plan to buy them full price.
ReplyDeleteAnything by Illamasqua, I need to stop buying their stuff, but its all so amazing and I love it all and the website is easy to use and the stores have had 20% off AND the MUAs at the stores are always SOOO nice and super helpful and, and, and....
God, I better stop here or my comment will turn into a post!
I know what you mean! $21.95 is ridiculous for one but it's okay for two!
DeleteYou know, I haven't tried ANYTHING from Illamasqua. I'm starting to think I need to though..
Thanks for these recommendations!
Try the L'oreal mascara! I can't remember what it's called but it's doubled sided Red and White. It's so amazing, people actually ask if my eyelashes are fake!
ReplyDeleteHi, Zoe, thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely check it out. My mascara stash won't last forever unfortunately.
DeleteI love the favourites posts, keep up with them please! Agree with above posters 2 4 1 lip butters at priceline, I got Cupcake & Sugar Plum oh and their free bag of products if you spent $60. I also am loving the Loreal Beauty Tubes Mascara, I have NO LASHES and with this, I do. Plus it's easy to have yr mascara looking natural or amazingly huge with this product :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Holly, I have so many Lip Butters but the retail price is ridiculous! I'd definitely recommend Strawberry Shortcake. It's the nicest colour.
DeleteI'll have to take a look at that mascara. My sister is looking for a good tube mascara at the moment, so I might tell her about this too.
I am liking the L'Oreal BB cream and the Revlon custom eyes mascara this month. Think i might try the Estee Lauder BB cream soon xo
ReplyDeleteTry the Maybelline Define A Lash or the One By One.
ReplyDeletePutting my post up soon tonight after I finish listing my Lush stuff on eBay.
