Beauty Would You Rather? TAG!

If you watch beauty gurus on YouTube as religiously as I, you'll have seen/heard/watched tags. They're basically a set of questions you answer about yourself and interests and then 'tag' other people (yes, it's basically like tag or chasey). I wasn't actually tagged but I don't care. I thought it would be fun.

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows? 

Well in an ideal world I wouldn't lose either but it'll have to be my eyeshadows and palettes. Eek! I don't mind the look of nicely lined eyes with a good coat of mascara and, in my opinion, eyes with shadow but no mascara would look ridiculous. I also want lip options, obviously, so losing all my lipsticks and glosses would be pretty tragic. 

2. Would you rather chop all your hair off or never be able to cut it again?

This is tough because I'm totally obsessed with my hair and never is a realllly long time, especially when it comes to hair cuts. But, in saying that, my hair looks ridiculous when short (my hair's a curly and frizzy mess when short and has been compared to that of Mozart) and I'm not sure if I could do that to myself. I'll have to but! I'll cut my hair, assuming that I can go back to my regular hair style once it grows..

3. Would you rather have a coral or pink cheek?

Pink. There are so many different shades of pink blush available and I'm a massive fan of baby pink cheeks.I also think pink suits my skin tone better. In saying that though, I don't have a really good coral blush. Anyway, definitely pink.

4. If you have $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or make up? 

Both! This question doesn't say I have to choose one or the other, just what I'd rather, so I choose both. I'd probably buy all the make up I could possibly want and/or need and use the leftover on clothes (if there's any left over, that is).

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as an eyeliner or eyeliner as a lipstick? 

Definitely eyeliner as lipstick! There are so many different eyeliners available so it wouldn't be that hard to find a liner that worked well with my look. Also, the thought of applying lipstick to my eyes is too much for me to handle.

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora? 

Well, given that I'm in Australia, I've decided to swap Sephora for MYER. Sephora seems to be like a big version of MYER's cosmetics level so it sounds like a good comparison. With this in mind, I would choose MYER. Not only does MYER sell MAC (is that cheating?), but they have such a great collection of cosmetic brands and it's almost impossible to walk through there without buying at least SOMETHING.

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life? 

The same lip colour, for sure. There are some amazing colours that manage to work/look amazing with any look (when I had brown hair, my MAC lip glaze in Hue was this type of product). I mix up my eyeshadow constantly so I'd find it difficult to stop that. 

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter? 

This is kind of a no-brainer for me 'cos I basically do this anyway. It's definitely summer clothes in winter! I hate the heat with a passion, and absolutely love being cold, so there's not a massive difference between my two wardrobes. I wear summerish clothes all year!

9. Would you rather wear dark nails or bright nails all year round? 

Dark. I don't choose my nail colours seasonally. I wear whatever colour I want and it's almost always dark anyway. I rarely wear bright nails and I love that dark nail colours go with absolutely everything!

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product? 

Lip. Lip. Lip! Definitely lip, in case you didn't get that. I have lip products I like, but none that I love. One the other hand, my Max Factor Lash Extension Effect mascara is one of the most amazing things I've ever used and I couldn't go without it. I love it like my first born child.

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun? 

Ponytail, I think. The question doesn't specify if I can mix up the ponytail type, so I'm assuming that can be determined by me. There's so many different ponytail options that I think I could make it work with every outfit. 

12. Would you rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?

I think it's never use lip gloss, surprisingly. I really love having painted nails and, although they're normally boring, mixing up the colours. Lately I've also found I'm not wearing lip gloss as much so I could happily work with lip sticks and balms.

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or Sharpie them?

Well I don't really understand this, to be honest. If I didn't choose to shave them off, why would I have to Sharpie them on? Anyway, if I had to answer, I'd shave them. Eyebrows aren't really my area of expertise and I'd have no idea what I was doing with a Sharpie. Plus it would mean I could get rid of my monobrow. Score!

14. Would you rather live without nail polish or make up? 

Oh puhlease! It feels wrong even being made to answer this. You're on a beauty blog, not a nail blog! I'd go without nail polish, easy. Sure I love my nails (I mean c'mon, it's another thing to accessorise!) but make up is just a given. I love all make up and cosmetics.
